Beef and Broccoli Pasta
We are off to the grocery store, but before that let me share these to you... because my husband is still busy deciding for the next week`s menu.. Do you remember our beef and mushroom pasta in white sauce? It looks the same right? because it is almost the same.. I just added some broccoli and omit the basil, and yes it became a new pasta..We love the taste of the sour cream and the beef strips.. anyway, why did I add some broccoli? we have lots of them in the fridge..so I tossed a few florets on the pasta..and it turned our great..hubby did the garlic bread.. ok ok... for the recipe..here it goes.. Ingredients: 250g cooked noodles 200g beef strips 8-10 broccoli florets 4 cloves garlic, chopped 1 small onion, chopped 1 pack button mushrooms, drained and sliced 2 1/2 tbsp flour 2 cups beef bouillon 2/3 cups milk 100g sour cream salt pepper olive oil for frying Procedure: 1. In medium heat, fry beef strips using olive oil until golden brown, set aside (you can add a dash of salt and pepper to the beef) 2. Combine beef bouillon, milk, sour cream, flour, salt and pepper. Stir using wire whisk. 3. In the same pan and oil used in #1, saute garlic and onion, add mushroom 4. add mixture, continuously stirring until it becomes thick. Let it simmer for a few minutes 5. In a bowl with hot water, put the broccoli, cover for 3 minutes and add to your mixture.. how to know if the broccoli is already cooked? if the color turns dark green.. or bright green.. 6. Serve with cooked pasta..topped with parsley.. you can use any kinds of pasta... Ingredients: Garlic Bread 2 pcs sliced bread 2 cloves garlic finely chopped 3 tbsp olive oil butter parsley Procedure: 1. Combine garlic, olive oil and parsley 2. Spread the mixture into the bread 3. Toast for 3 minutes I have another pending pasta recipe to share.. the easiest so far.. we`ll share that next week..
