- Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl and add the sliced beef. Marinate for 30 minutes but one hour is better.
- Meanwhile, peel and mince the garlic. Peel also the onions and slice thinly. Set aside.
- Wash the broccoli with water, then drain. Cut the florets into bite sizes. Cut the stalk diagonally into thin slices.
- In a small pot, bring to full boil 2 cups of water. Minimize heat to low. Season the water with salt then add the broccoli. Cook them for about a minute and drain. Set aside.
- Heat oil in a separate wok or a non-stick pan. Saute garlic and onion. Then, add the sliced beef. Stirring occasionally. Stir fry until aromatic. Cook for about 5 minutes.
- Add the beef broccoli sauce. Bring the to slow simmer, stirring frequently until cooked.
- A minute before you turn the heat off, add the pre-cooked broccoli. Stirring well, until sauce covers the broccoli.
