This easy side dish will be perfect with some fish or meat!

  • Creamed leeks - Preparation step 1Thinly slice the leek white parts, then clean them well to take out all of the dirt.
  • Creamed leeks - Preparation step 2In a pan, melt somebutter, and sauté the minced shallot in it.
  • Creamed leeks - Preparation step 3Add the leeks, and sauté them on medium heat. Leave to cook for 20 minutes, stirring once in a while.
  • Creamed leeks - Preparation step 4Add the white wine, and leave to cook for 3 minutes. Add the cream, the salt, the pepper and the nutmeg.
  • Creamed leeks - Preparation step 5Stir well, leave to cook for around 5 minutes, and take out of the heat.
  • Creamed leeks - Preparation step 6There you are, your creamed leeks are ready!
