Just Breathe?

By Real Fit Mama (Visit website)

I’m ready for this day to be over. I think my girls are too. They’re going crazy!

Just Breathe…

The morning started out fab! Up at 6:45 and in the shower by 6:50. Of course my shower time is never alone time. Linsey almost always wakes up right after I get in and likes to sit on the “potty” and have long, in depth conversations with me. ;)

After we solved the world’s hunger crisis we decided it would be best to solve ours as well. ;)

Bananas and whole wheat waffles for the girls and yesterday’s overnight oats for me.

Plus a banana.

These are so yummy all I could do was eat and – Just Breathe…

Some mornings getting the girls ready for the day and out the door for school takes every bit of patience I can muster. Thankfully today wasn’t one of those days. We ate, brushed hair, brushed teeth, put on shoes and jackets then walked out the door with the greatest of ease.

No need to Just Breathe…

Then I got to the deli and everything changed.

As I got going things started out slow, but by 11:00 we had them walking in the door and walking in the door and walking in the door and…you get the point. Basically we got our asses handed to us from 11:00 until well after 1:00 in the afternoon.

Just Breathe…and eat some lunch.

A veggie sandwich with avocado spread, pepper jack cheese, red onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, lettuce, mayo and spicy mustard.

With Mesquite BBQ Krunchers on the side. Just Breathe…

I managed to make it home, get changed and get to Linsey’s school just in time to see her walking out the door.

Just Breathe…and walk to pick up Regan from school too. That is my exercise right now. Walking to Linsey’s school (1/4 mile), walking to Regan’s school (1.5 miles), then walk home (1.5 miles)…of course today we made a detour. Cause I needed caffeine!

Iced Green Tea is amazing! Just Breathe…and sip. Then eat – again.

Garden vegetable soup with pesto and a whole grain role on the side. I couldn’t finish it though.

I took the girls out to Bread Co as sort of a celebration because they both had GREAT days at school. They were well behaved. I didn’t breathe. I held my breath the whole time we were there because I knew a Regan melt down was looming in the distance. I could see it in her eyes. Just Breathe…

We made it out of there WITHOUT a melt down AND dinner for Jason as a surprise! The walk home was making me nervous though. The arguing started. The whining started. And then we were at the front door. SCORE!

Linsey got started on homework immediately…such a good kid!! :)

Regan was busy being Regan. Just Breathe…

until she saw the camera and it was all over. I was done for. Could you get any work done with THIS face begging you to hold her??

Me either…I put the computer away and held her. Now she’s sleeping and Linsey is sleeping and I am…

Just Breathing.

And hoping that while you’re breathing you might take the time to help me go to the Foodbuzz Blogger Festival. I’m getting closer to my goal everyday AND already have my hotel room booked thanks to a GREAT RELATIVE!!!
