Just surrender

By Consider This! (Visit website)

What a blessed experience I've had so far today. The yoga class I attended this morning, was graced by Grammy nominated flautist, David Young. We practiced atop his beautiful music, and enjoyed a phenomenal Sacred Music flow. The instructor quieted her voice, so not to fight the natural energy of the class and not a single person was spared from the pure bliss he created!

Like I mentioned before, music is such a part of me, of all of us! It is that vibration deep within us that connects us all. It can create such a beautiful fluidity on which to move, and explore your soul. Today, it was pure vibration in it's rawest form. The sounds of his flute echoing deep inside me, blurring the lines of any disconnect.
With my intention clear as day, I surrendered to the vibration of his breath, of his music.

Some of you may not know it, but a bulk of my life was spent as a Dancer. From the age of 2, I lived, breathed, and explored the world of movement. Unfortunately this proved to be something that had to be given up, but never abandoned completely.
Today's class brought me back into my days spent in the Ballet studio, floating on musical notes; riding it's crescendo to the peak, and back down again.

It was so refreshing to strip away the words, and simply enjoy the natural harmonies. It was remarkably freeing, clearing a beautiful space for my energy to flow. I was in such a trance through class, and have never enjoyed such an experience! I was so happy to hear that Lisa, my beautiful instructor will be holding another Sacred Music class in a few weeks with David- I only hope I'm still around!!

I rode out my high and stuck around for Pilates, the usual ass wooping went down. Spare me the details!
Needless to say, I came home a starvin Marvin! I knew exactly what I was working with today. Pilates is usually spent dreaming up these wondrous Sammies! ;) What can I say, it cuts into my lunch hour!
Tempeh, Avocado, and Tomato sandwiched between
two slices of Multigrain Sourdough

I also had a juicy orange on the side. When I cut into it, I was greeted by the most vibrant shade of red, much to my delight!
Blood Orange

As if we need any explanation, I had some of my Valentine's day Chocolate as well.

Bridget, I will forever love you for bringing me such happiness.

I think Im headed to the bookstore, I could use some new reading materials.
Any suggestions?

Always Love, laughs, and light!
