Kids Craft - More Ornaments

Tonight we will be ringing in the New Year with some good friends.  Said good friend called yesterday to let me know that she will be having a tree up for decoration at the party and can my kids make some ornaments to hang on this tree.  The party's theme is "Black and White" and the tree is white but the ornaments don't need to necessarily be black and white.  Of course my kids can make some ornaments - and they did - here they are....



We started with strips of paper; black, white, off white, pretty pattern thrown in and for some b&w fun we cut newspaper too.  The strips were 1/2 inch by 9 inches.



Next we used four strips for each ornament (any four) and glued the ends together to form circles.


We then? took the four circles and put them together in an "X" formation to make the ornaments. We bent some of the rings and left some big to get different shapes.  We added some ribbon loops and they are ready to be hung.
