REVIEW: MOUNTAIN MIKE'S PIZZA

By SACRAMENTO BLOG UNCUT (Visit website)

Last night after a very stressful work day I got home, cracked open a beer & had a smoke. As a matter of fact, I cracked open a few beers.

It was one of those days.....

So with that being said I started wondering about dinner.

I remembered that Mountain Mike's Pizza was on my "to do" list for my blog.

Thumbing through the Sacramento phonebook I spotted the number for Mountain Mike's Pizza.

So I dialed the number & I got the response "Mountain Mike's Pizza, can you hold?" Yes, I said.

Thirty seconds later another person came on the line & gave me the run down on the specials.

I was interested in a medium combination pizza. The employee then told me about the medium Everest pizza with nine toppings. Nine toppings, woa...

I passed on the salami & was cool with everything else. He took my info & told me it would be 45 minutes to an hour.

With delivery & various "Vig" charges the total would be $19.03.

That sounded good. I could wait an hour for dinner, after all, it wasn't like Jennifer Aniston was coming over or anything like that.

So true to his promise, after nearly 1 hour of waiting, there was a knock at my front door. I had $23.00 cash ready for the delivery person.

I cracked open the door & the delivery guy said, Hi, that will be $19.03.

I responded with, do you have any Parmesan cheese & red pepper?

He looked at me & said, I only bring that if it's on the tag.

WTF? Are you kidding me? No Parmesan cheese or Red pepper?

What's the world coming too?

I handed him a $20.00 bill & held back the extra $3.00. He thanked me & walked off into the darkness.

Hey, I have to say that it was an excellent pizza. I ate almost all of it!

In closing, let me say that if you are a Pizza delivery guy or gal, always have some Parmesan Cheese & Red Pepper on you.

I give Mountain Mike's Pizza 3 out of 4 Stars.
