Toast with figs, goat cream cheese, honey and rosemary
The fig season is well and truly underway, and since it is short we are determined to take advantage of it! These little fruits can be used in endless variations: in a salad, in a tart or roasted, as an appetizer, this soft and sweet fruit never ceases to amaze us! Today we decided to make little toasts/bruschetta made with goat cream cheese, figs, honey and rosemary, a delicious combo that you absolutely have to try! These vegetarian toasts will be perfect as a starter, or as a complete meal accompanied by a salad :-)
Ingredients
Materials
- 1 toaster
- 1 knife
Preparation
- Cut the figs into thin slices.
- Toast the bread slices and place them on the serving dish.
- Spread the toasted bread slices with the fresh goat cheese.
- Place the fig slices on top then add a few sprigs of rosemary around the figs (you can plant them in the cheese).
- Season with salt and pepper then drizzle honey on top.
- And there you are, your toast is ready!
Observations
How to store these toasts?
You can refrigerate them and eat them during the day, but we recommend eating them immediately afterwards so that the bread retains its crunch and the figs remain fresh.
Can I replace goat cream cheese?
You can replace it with goat cheese log or classic cream cheese or ricotta!
Which bread to use?
We used sliced country bread but don't hesitate to vary the pleasures! If your bread is very fresh, there is no need to toast it: you can enjoy it fresh with our topping!
