1 cup flour

1.5 ounces butter

2 tsp baking powder

Preparation

    In a bowl, combine the eggs with the condensed milk. It can take a while since the condensed milk is pretty thick.

    Then ad the melted butter, the flour and the baking powder, and mix until the batter get smooth.

    Bake 50 minutes at 320°F (160°C). Check with a knife : the blade must be dry and clean.

Very easy. Important to whip eggs and milk to help later with rise. Also, sift flour with baking powder before adding to egg, milk and butter mixture...will also help rise. Finally, add 1/2 T vanilla to enhance flavor. 40 mins baking time is enough to avoid dryness. Great basic recipe.

I baked this today with much success! I have a new food processor so I mixed everthing together in there without any problem. The batter was smooth as suggested.

I found that 50 mins in my oven might've been too long. The sides and bottom were beginning to burn slightly and the cake came out a teeny tiny bit dry. Next time I'll try 45 mins and maybe even 40 mins. Besides this the texture was perfect! The recipe is super easy to follow and even the most novice baker (like me) could do it
