In a bowl, combine ground cinnamon, ginger, clove, and a pinch of salt.
In a saucepan, combine milk, butter, and honey. Cook and stir over low heat until everything is dissolved. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together baking powder, flour, and brown sugar, then add the spice mix. Stir until just combined.
Make a well in the center. Pour the milk mixture into it. Stir well.
Add the candied orange peel. Transfer to a greased loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes at 180ºC or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
