Observations

Can I make this recipe with other fruits?

Of course, although strawberry flavor is the most common, you can use other red fruits (raspberries, currants), banana or peach, for example.

Can I substitute Greek yogurt?

Of course you can. You can replace it with skyr, natural yogurt or even cream cheese, such as philadelphia; in fact, with the latter the result is much creamier although you will increase the calories.

Can I substitute agave syrup?

You can use the sweetener of your choice, such as honey, maple syrup, date cream oragave syrup. Add it to the mixture before whipping and adjust the amounts until it is to your liking.

Can I make a healthy vegan Petit Suisse?

Of course you can. For a vegan version, a good alternative is to mix soaked cashews (previously hydrated for several hours) with vegetable yogurt (such as soy, almond or coconut yogurt) and add strawberry pieces. Instead of gelatin, you can use agar-agar, which is a gelling agent of vegetable origin very suitable for vegan desserts.

Can I use powdered gelatine or agar-agar? What would be the equivalence?

You can use 1.5 teaspoons of powdered gelatin.
¾ teaspoon of agar-agar powder.

Can I freeze these Petit Suisse to make ice cream with them?

We do not recommend it, since gelatin is not an ingredient that resists low temperatures very well.

How many Petit Suisse do these quantities yield?

With these quantities, we have obtained 3 small glasses of 4.5 oz each.

How can I add more creaminess to my Petit Suisse?

You can add more creaminess by whipping 2 tablespoons of cream and folding it into the final blended mixture (just before putting it in the refrigerator to set). Note that this will increase the caloric content of the recipe.
