  • Filling

    Beat sugar and butter until creamy. Add beaten egg. Add dry ingredients with milk until the mixture becomes a sticky dough. Smear the mixture thinly into the bottoms and sides of two pie dishes. PS. This crust does not get baked at this stage.


    Boil milk, butter and sugar. Mix flour and maizena with a bit of the milk. Separate eggs and add well-beaten egg yolks to flour mixture and then add everything to the milk mixture. Boil for 5 minutes. Whisk the egg whites and fold into the mixture. Add vanilla essence and mix well. Pour mixture over the crusts, sprinkle cinnamon on the top and bake at 180C for approximately 20 minutes.




Filling is crust and crust is filling in the preparation. The dough must not br gooyee but resilient.
