Cut the cold camembert into 8 equal parts.
Coat each slice of camembert in flour. Then dip the pieces in the beaten eggs, using 2 forks.
Then coat them in breadcrumbs to cover the entire piece. Dip them again in the eggs, and then back into the breadcrumbs.
This step ensures a thick enough outer layer so that the camembert does not leak during cooking. Place the breaded pieces in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Fry in hot oil (375°F/190°C) for 1 minute, or until golden brown.
And there you have it, your breaded camembert is ready!
Observations
Cooking method: in a pan: If you don’t have a fryer, cook the breaded pieces of camembert in a pan with hot oil, being careful not to cook too long so the camembert does not escape.
Cooking method: in the oven: Place the breaded pieces on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Cook for 15 minutes at 350°F (180°C). This method will not yield as golden and crispy a result as frying.
