Make the camembert even more crispy and melty with our breaded camembert recipe! An easy preparation and can be served as an aperitif or for dinner accompanied by a salad. To obtain a well melted cheese at the cutting, follow our step by step recipe and refer to the video version at the end ;-)

- Cut the cold camembert into 8 equal parts.
- Put each slice of camembert in flour. Then dip the pieces in the beaten eggs, using 2 forks.
- Then put them in the breadcrumbs to cover the whole piece. Then dip in the eggs, and again in the breadcrumbs.
- This step allows to have an outer layer thick enough that the camembert does not sink during cooking. Place the breaded pieces in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Cook in the hot oil (375°F/190°C) for 1 minute, or until golden brown.
- There you are, your breaded camembert is ready!
Observations
Cooking method : in a pan : If you don’t have a fryer, cook the breaded pieces of camembert in a pan with hot oil, being careful not to cook too long so the camembert does not escape.
Cooking method : in the oven : Place the breaded pieces on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Cook for 15 minutes at 350°F (180°C). This cooking will not look as golden and crispy.
