Ingredients

Number of serving: 15
All Purpose Flour 2 Cups

Salt 1/4 teaspoon

Unsalted Butter 2 Sticks (1 Cup softened to room temperature)

Powdered Sugar 1/2 Cup

Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon

Preparation

  • In the bowl cream the butter and sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and combine.
  • Now slowly add the flour until well mixed. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Line two cookie trays with parchment paper. On a lightly floured surface roll out the dough into two thick logs.
  • Cut into rounds and then cut into desired shapes using a cookie cutter.
  • Place it in the baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes until cookies are very lightly browned.
  • Cool in a wire rack.
