For a lightly roasted effect, there's nothing better than baking your zucchini! Cut into sticks, they almost look like little fries :-) A great way to get the whole family to eat vegetables! We’re sharing our seasoning and, of course, the exact cooking time for perfect baked zucchini. Follow our step-by-step recipe ;-)

1 zucchini
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of garlic powder
1 drizzle of olive oil

Materials

1 sheet of parchment paper
1 mixing bowl

Wash your zucchini. If it's organic, leave the skin on; otherwise, peel it.
Cut your zucchini into three lengthwise, then cut each piece into sticks.
In a mixing bowl, toss the zucchini pieces with the salt, olive oil, and garlic powder.
Preheat your oven to 390°F (200°C).
On a baking tray covered with parchment paper, place your zucchini sticks and cook for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve. Enjoy!

Which zucchini should you use?

Here we used long, green zucchini, but don't hesitate to use yellow ones too, which will add color to your plate. As for round zucchini, we recommend saving them for stuffed zucchini dishes; they'll be perfect for that.

What should I serve with my zucchini?

We kept the seasonings simple, but don't hesitate to flavor them to your taste: herbes de Provence, paprika, curry, thyme, etc. Once cooked, your zucchini are also delicious served with ketchup or barbecue sauce, just like fries ;-)

How much zucchini per person?

We usually allow 250 g of zucchini per person. Zucchini come in different sizes:
* 7 to 14 cm inclusive = 50 to 100 g
