Preparation
- Place the cream, bowl and whisk in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes before use.
Pour the cream in the bowl. - Add the mascarpone and the Nutella spread and whisk until the mixture doubles in volume and is well blended. Finish incorporating with a spatula if necessary. Refrigerate until use.
- There you are, you can now make a delicious layer cake or decorate a cake !
Observations
Which cream to use?
You can use liquid cream or sour cream which contains at least 30% fat. The taste will be sweeter with liquid cream and more acidic with sour cream.
Why put cream in the freezer?
It is by being very cold that the cream will rise well and become firmer. We recommend also placing the bowl and the whisk so that the cream does not heat up while you whip it.
Which spread to use?
You can use the spread of your choice such as a chocolate hazelnut spread (such as Nutella), peanut butter or other oilseeds (hazelnut, pistachio…), speculoos spread… Anything is possible! Flavor your cream according to your tastes and let your creativity do the talking!
