Puff pastry baskets with asparagus, ham and cheese
We're entering green asparagus season and taking advantage of it because it doesn't last very long! We know the classic cooking in water with a delicious mousseline sauce to accompany them. But have you ever tried baking your asparagus to make a delicious puff pastry starter? A crunchy-melting recipe that will be absolutely perfect accompanied by a salad for a complete meal! You'll love the melting mozzarella, the delicacy of prosciutto and the crispy puff pastry!

Preparation
- Wash and prepare the asparagus by cutting or grating the woody part if necessary. Cut the asparagus in half if they are large.
- Place the asparagus in a dish and pour olive oil over it. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
- Cut the puff pastry into 6 rectangles. Fold the ham slices in half. .
- Place the slices of ham on the rectangles of puff pastry, then place the asparagus diagonally and cover with grated mozzarella.
- Fold corners diagonally then brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F (180°C).

You can replace the asparagus with tomato slices or olives for example.
