It’s my birthday today…yeah!! I’m  a year older, hopefully a year wiser. It’s such a thrill to receive birthday wishes from all over the world. A friend back home sent me a triple greeting….Chinese New Year, Valentine’s Day and my Birthday. He called it ‘triple happiness’. I fully agree with him. I think this has been a special and awesome season for me….great time with my friends, lots of special attention from my hubby and children and of course lots of special gifts, one of them being my new Apple computer!

My niece from Australia sent me a birthday message which ended saying, ”A birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. Enjoy the trip.” That’s really so true. I’m going to enjoy the next 365 days before my next birthday comes! At least I know I’m still going to enjoy my blogging and of course on my every journey, I’ll Keep Learning and Keep Smiling!

I have to admit that I have been having too much fun for the past few days that I had not had much time with my blog. So sorry about it, but I totally deserve it, right? Thanks a lot to everyone of you who continued to visit my blog and leaving comments while I have been a little quiet. I’ll catch up after this.

And here’s something really beautiful. Joy from Joylicious at http://www.joylicious.net wrote a blog post, specially for my birthday. When I emailed Joy a few weeks ago asking her if she can be my guest blogger for my birthday, her reply came within minutes with an excited ‘YES’! She really made my day. I knew I would be in for a real great surprise from her. She chose to make a beautiful dessert specially for my birthday…..so sweet of her! The cake looked fantastic….has to be my favourite cake! Thanks very much, Joy! Besides, I really love her adorable cat and dog that celebrate with me…haha. Don’t they look cute and photogenic?

Joy had worked so hard through the Chinese New Year on this guest post…… just for me. I really felt so honoured. I felt so bad but yet so touched by her enthusiasm and love. However…..she didn’t understand what guest blogging is as this is her first time and she posted it on her blog instead of mine! We had a good laugh and decided to leave it that way. Joy’s name really suits her. She has brought much joy to me ever since I came to know her a few months ago. She’s very sweet and very friendly. What a joy to know her through blogging! Her blog posts, her comments on my blog and also her replies to comments on her blog always bring big smiles to my face. I really love her vibrant life, humour and all the funny pictures on her blog apart from all the mouth-watering recipes and food pictures. I’m sure no one can ever get bored or have a chance to get depressed around her! You need to visit her blog, more so if you have a bad day…haha. Her blog is utterly inspirational and entertaining.
