Try My Neighbor's Sauce!

I was pleasantly surprised this past weekend when my neighbor knocked on my door and gifted me with a jar of hot sauce. Not just any hot sauce, but his own hot sauce that he and his friend are making and marketing. It's Logan's Habanero Relish and it's currently available at Thom's Market, 1418 Barton Springs Rd. He won 2nd place crowd favorite at the recent Austin Hot Sauce Festival. I'm happy to report that it's delicious and is a blend of habanero, serrano and jalapeno peppers, along with carrots, onions, garlic, salt and vinegar. I'm not a person who can handle really hot food and Logan's seasoning is perfect, just the right amount of bite without burning the roof of my mouth off. If you're in Austin, give a try!
