The best match in dessert ever : chocolate and banana! And all offered to you as a tart, what is best than that?

Ingredients

Number of serving: 10

2 to 3 ripe bananas

8 ounces chocolate (220 gr)

1/2 cup cream (125 ml)

2 Tbsp sugar

1/3 cup butter (90 gr)

Materials

11 inches pie pan

Preparation

  • Step 1 - Chocolate and banana tart
    Put the pie crust in the mould, and bake it for 20 minutes at 350°F (180°C). Peel and slice the bananas.
  • Step 2 - Chocolate and banana tart
    Once the crust has cooled down, arrange the banana slices in the bottom.
  • Step 3 - Chocolate and banana tart
    Put the cream to boil. In a bowl, put the chocolate and the sugar. Pour the boiling cream on it, and stir until the chocolate has completely melted down.
  • Step 4 - Chocolate and banana tart
    Melt the butter and add it to the mix.
  • Step 5 - Chocolate and banana tart
    Immediatly pour this ganache on the bananes. Spread it by moving your tart around. Put in the fridge for 1 hour.
  • Step 6 - Chocolate and banana tart
    Arrange bananas on the top to decorate.
  • Step 7 - Chocolate and banana tart
    There you are, your chocolate banana tart is ready!

Observations:

The ganache : it should be use immediatly, or it will get harder and won't spread properly.
