Ingredients

Number of serving: 3
1 Kampong chicken ( free-range chicken )

9 slices angelica roots

A handful wolfberries ( the more the merrier to enhance the overall flavor )

12 pitted red dates

6 garlics ( skin on )


Sauce ingredients:

2 tablespoon oyster sauce

3 tablespoon premium red dates dark sauce

2 tablespoon dark soy sauce

Half teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon sugar

600 ml water

Preparation

  • Wash chicken , drained and stuff some garlics , red dates , and angelica roots into chicken cavity , the remaining into the casserole.
  • Add seasoning into casserole and rub some onto chicken.
  • Add water , cover and bake at 200 Celsius for an hour in a preheated oven.
  • When done , removed chicken and chop into bite size.
  • Serve chicken drizzle with the aromatic sauce with steamed rice immediately.
