Ingredients

- Carrot -1 ,grated

- Lemon juice - to taste

- Salt to taste


Seasoning:


- Oil- 1 teaspoon

- Mustard-1/2 a teaspoon

- Jeera/Cumin seeds -1/2 a teaspoon

- Urad dhal-1/2 a teaspoon

- Red chillies -2

- Curry leaves- a few

Preparation

Step 1

Coriander leaves to garnish. Place the grated carrot in a bowl and add lemon juice,salt. Mix well.

Step 2

Heat oil in a small pan and put in all the ingredients under 'seasonings'. When the mustard splutters and dhal turns brown,pour over the salad.

Step 3

Mix well and serve garnished with coriander leaves.
