Ingredients

Number of serving: 2
Carrot -1 ,grated

Lemon juice - to taste

Salt to taste


Seasoning:

Oil- 1 teaspoon

Mustard-1/2 a teaspoon

Jeera/Cumin seeds -1/2 a teaspoon

Urad dhal-1/2 a teaspoon

Red chillies -2

Curry leaves- a few

Preparation

  • Coriander leaves to garnish. Place the grated carrot in a bowl and add lemon juice,salt. Mix well.
  • Heat oil in a small pan and put in all the ingredients under 'seasonings'. When the mustard splutters and dhal turns brown,pour over the salad.
  • Mix well and serve garnished with coriander leaves.
