Oats potato cutlet - oats aloo tikki


Ingredients

- Oats:1 cup
- Potato:1,boiled
- Salt to taste
- Red chilli powder:1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper powder:1/2 teaspoon
- Semolina/rava:2 tablepsoons
- Onion:1,small,chopped
- Water as required
- Oil for frying

Preparation

Step 1

Put the oats in a small bowl and pour required hot water over the oats. The oats will get cooked..(Add water enough to wet the oats).

Step 2

Now mash the boiled potato and add the red chilli powder,semolina and pepper powder to this and mix well.

Step 3

Now chop the onion finely and add this to the oats mixture. Now make small patties out of this mixture and coat on either sides with powdered rusk.

Step 4

Heat oil in a non-stick pan and fry them in oil till golden brown.
