- In a pressure cooker, add dalda and oil. When hot add all the whole spices like cloves, cardamom, Cinnamon, bay leaves, aniseed, star aniseed and mace and let it splutter.
- Now add onions and stir fry till golden brown. Add green chillies, ginger- garlic paste and fry for a min.
- Now add chilly powder, tomatoes, garam masala powder, veg stock cube and saute for a while.
- Finally add rice, salt, water and ghee. Cover and cook up to 2 whistles. Serve hot with papads.
