- Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. Melt the butter and honey together, let them cool.
- In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients. Separately mix eggs with milk.
- Add to the dry ingredients and mix well (you can use a food processor all the time), than add melted butter and mix well until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
- The result is a pretty liquid batter, but don”t worry in the oven will rise properly.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- After the ginger cake has cooled on a wire rack, cut it into square shapes.
- Sift powdered sugar over cake pieces and serve.
