Apricot cake

Ingredients

• 12 apricots
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 2 tsp vanilla sugar
• 3/4 cup flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 pinch of salt
• 3/4 cup almond meal
• 1/4 cup butter

Materials

• Cake mold (11 inches diameter)

Preparation

• Preheat your oven on grill mode to 350°F. Put the brown sugar in a greased mold. Bake 5 min until the sugar melts.
• Clean appricots and cut them in halves. Remove the pits and put them in the mold.
  
• Mix the eggs + sugar + vanilla sugar.
• Add flour + baking powder + salt + almond meal and mix well. Add melted butter and mix.
  
• Pour the batter on top of the apricots.
• Bake 30 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
  
• Let cool and unmold. There you are, your apricot cake is ready !
