Rava - 1 cup

Curd - 4 to 5 tbsp

Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tsp

Channa Dal - 1 tsp

Green Chillies - 1 - slit or chopped

Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp

Salt to taste

Oil to saute


  • Soak the rava in curd for 10 minutes, add salt.
  • Meanwhile, splutter mustard seeds in a tsp of oil, fry channa dal and green chilly, add to batter.
  • You can also add chopped curry/coriander leaves, grated carrots and fried cashews.
  • Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the batter evenly through.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven for around 10 minutes. Tilt the dish into a plate, piece into any shape. Serve with onion chutney!!
