Ingredients

Number of serving: 2
Carrots - 3 or 4 - peeled and washed

Methi (Fenugreek Seeds) - 1/4 teaspoon

Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Mustard Seeds - 1/4 teaspoon

Asafoetida (hing) - 1 pinch

Turmeric Powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Lemon - 1/2 or 1/4 to sqeeze

Salt to taste

Oil to saute

Preparation

  • Cut carrot into long thin sticks.
  • Roast the Methi and grind coarsely.
  • Heat oil in kadai, add mustard , fenugeek powder, asafoetida, turmeric and red chilly powder.
  • Pour it over the carrots, mix well
  • Add lil salt and lemon juice.
