Baked spiral potatoes
Potatoes are clearly the perfect accompaniment that pleases the whole family. Mashed, au gratin, or fries, they delight young and old alike. Today we offer you a recipe for baked potatoes in the shape of spirals, which will go perfectly with meat and fish. To have this pretty shape, nothing could be simpler, no need for a machine, just a wooden stick and a very sharp knife! We chose to bake them in the oven for a crispy result on the outside and soft on the inside :-)
Ingredients
Materials
- Wooden sticks
- Baking tray
- Parchment paper
- Knife
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Wash the potatoes and stick a wooden stick into each potato, so that the potato is in the center of the stick. - Using the knife, begin to cut the potato in a spiral. From one end to the other, without interruption, to obtain a continuous spiral. The trick is to twist the stick as you cut. Gently pull apart the slices to open the potato.
- Brush them with melted butter (or olive oil). Then season with salt, pepper and paprika to taste.
- On a baking sheet previously covered with parchment paper, put them in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes (depending on the size of the potato, this time may vary).
- Take them out of the oven and serve them still warm!
