Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Clean the carrots.
- Hasselback technique: to create the accordion effect, place 1 carrot between 2 boards (or 2 wooden spoons, for example). Make thin, parallel cuts. Note that the layers will still be attached because they haven't been cut all the way through. Do the same with the other carrots.

- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove the foil, mix and bake for 20 minutes.
