Crispy parmesan gnocchi in the air fryer
vote now
We’re familiar with gnocchi for their melt-in-your-mouth texture, which we love to serve with tomato sauce or pesto, but for a little change, we opted for ultra-crispy gnocchi cooked in the air fryer! They have a delicious Parmesan and oregano crust, and they’re made without deep-frying :-) These gnocchi are perfect for snacking on as an appetizer or serving as a side dish! Tell us in the comments which recipe we should try in the air fryer!

FAQ ❓
Which air fryer did we use to make this recipe?
We used the Ninja Foodi AF300EU dual-zone 7.6 L model.
How should you store these gnocchi?
You can place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. To reheat them, you can put them in the oven for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees, or in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 180 degrees.
What sauce goes well with the gnocchi?
You can serve them with tomato sauce or pesto (verde or rosso) for dipping as an appetizer!
How should you serve air-fried gnocchi?
You can serve the gnocchi as an appetizer, as a side dish (instead of pommes dauphine, for example), or in a salad, where they can serve as crispy “croutons.” You can serve them hot or cold.
What seasonings can you use for gnocchi?
To replace the Parmesan and oregano mixture, you can use either of the following:
- For an Italian-inspired version, add 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning to the gnocchi.
- For an Asian-inspired version, add 1 teaspoon of sesame oil to the gnocchi before air-frying, then add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce or teriyaki sauce and some sesame seeds.
- For a pesto version, omit the Parmesan and add a large spoonful of pesto to the gnocchi before putting them in the air fryer.
