For a nice British breakfast, bake these delicious little buns and enjoy them with some butter and jam!

3.5 cups flour

1 tsp salt

0.5 oz fresh yeast

1 tbsp oil

1.2 cup milk


4 inches diameter cookie cutter


  • Step 1 - English muffins
    In a bowl, put all the ingredients and knead for 5 minutes. Form a ball.
  • Step 2 - English muffins
    Leave the dough at room temperature for 1 hour. After, apply some pressure on it to take the air out.
  • Step 3 - English muffins
    Roll out the dough on some flour, about 1/3 inch thick. Use a 4 inches diameter cookie cutter to cut the muffins.
  • Step 4 - English muffins
    Put them on a hot pan on low heat, and leave 9 minutes. Flip them and leave 9 minutes more.
  • Step 5 - English muffins
    There you are, your English muffins are ready!
