Preparation
- Peel and thinly slice the potatoes (using a knife or mandolin).
- Rub the dish with the garlic clove.
- Place the potato slices in the dish like a tian.
- Mix cream and milk and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- Pour the milk + cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Bake the gratin without the cheese at 320°F (160°C) for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, add the grated cheese and cook for a further ten minutes to gratinate.
- And that's it! Your potato gratin is ready to eat :-) You can add fresh parsley on top!
