Lawry's "Complete Meal Ideas" Product Review and Giveaway
As a busy family we are always looking for new and quick ideas for dinner. I don?t like feeding my family fast food, or food that I consider to be junk. I like feeding them a well-rounded healthy meal that is not only filling, but is quick, easy and taste great too. It seems time is continuously an issue, so the search is always on for a quick and easy dinner. Lawry?s has come up with a solution to this problem. With Lawry?s four new seasoning mixes, you?ll find easy answers to the question, ?What?s for dinner?? Lawry?s along with MyBlogSpark offered Colie?s Kitchen the opportunity to try all four of Lawry?s new seasoning mixes, and they included a wonderful Pyrex covered baking dish to make dinner in, and make dinner easy. Asian Style Beef and Broccoli ? This easy to prepare stir fry meal will remind your family of their favorite Asian restaurant. The dish combines beef, broccoli and seasonings with a hint of garlic. Serve it over rice for a complete, satisfying meal. If you are thinking of getting Asian take out for dinner? forget about it! This dish is for you! You can make this for dinner quicker than going to get take out, or waiting for them to deliver. This dish is excellent! It super easy to make, and it taste great too. The night I made this for dinner we were running behind. Kevin?s hockey practice ran longer than we were expecting so dinner had to be quick. No problem! Lawry?s came to the rescue with this dish. One thing we all loved about the Asian Style Beef and Broccoli was the wonderful fresh ginger flavor. Yummy! You can?t go wrong with this dish served over brown or white rice. Chimichurri Burrito Casserole ? Lawry?s gives the Burrito casserole a new twist with this traditional Latin American sauce. With a few simple fresh ingredients, mealtime just got a lot more exciting. This casserole is wonderful. We did not have a piece left by the end of dinner. It?s a nice hearty casserole, that?s easy to make, very filling, and has a great flavor. I was surprise just how easy it was to make. My initial thought was, this might be a lot of work, but it was actually simple to put together. I am always cautious about trying anything out of a seasoning mixes, but this was excellent. I would not hesitate to make it again. I am already getting request from the family to make this again for dinner. Mediterranean Sundried Tomato and Garlic Chicken ? Add a taste of the Mediterranean to your family?s casserole. This easy to bake casserole combines chicken, pasta, tomatoes and Feta cheese for a flavorful meal any night of the week. What a hit this was!! This is an excellent dish. It truly taste as if it took hours to prepare when it truth the entire process was one hour including prep time, and baking. I wasn?t sure what I was going to think of it initially, but as soon as I opening the seasoning packet I couldn?t help believe it would be a winner. The smell was amazing before it even started baking. Once again this is a quick and easy recipe. It?s easy to follow, taste great, and was a hit with my family. I also like that the seasoning mix offers a variation to the recipe. You can either make Mediterranean Sundried Tomato and Garlic Chicken, or make Chicken Cacciatore. This dish has a very authentic Italian flavor. This will certainly be a dish regularly on our menu. We love Italian food, and we could not have been any more pleased with this recipe. Tuscan Style Chicken Marsala with Garlic & Basil ?This effortless version of a restaurant favorite comes together on your stovetop with just a few fresh ingredients. Flavorful garlic and basil gives this meal its own Tuscan flair, perfect for serving over pasta or rice. I love chicken marsala, but during the week I just don?t have the time to make it. I have no doubt my family would love it during the week, but it?s always been a Sunday dinner in our household. Lawry?s has changed that. This dish is phenomenal! It tastes just like my chicken marsala recipe, but a quarter of the work, and half the time. Literally this took me less than an hour to make, and serve dinner. My family was ecstatic that they were having chicken marsala on a Monday night. That never happens! This dish is excellent, not only is the flavor wonderful, but the marsala wine flavor shines through this recipe. This time I served it with white rice, next time I am going to serve it was garlic mashed potatoes like I normally do. This dish was a great success!
