Ingredients

Number of serving: 5
1 Cup plain flour

1 Cup sugar

1 Cup rolled oats

1 Cup fine coconut

4 ounces (125 g) butter or margarine

1 tablepsoons golden syrup/treacle/honey

2 tablepsoons boiling water

1 teaspoon baking soda

Preparation

  • Melt butter, add syrup, water and soda.
  • Pour onto mixed dry ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased tray, leaving room for spreading.
  • Bake in moderate oven for 20 minutes.
