Golden crunch biscuits

Ingredients

• 1 Cup plain flour
• 1 Cup sugar
• 1 Cup rolled oats
• 1 Cup fine coconut
• 4 ounces (125 g) butter or margarine
• 1 tablepsoons golden syrup/treacle/honey
• 2 tablepsoons boiling water
• 1 teaspoon baking soda

Preparation

• Melt butter, add syrup, water and soda.
• Pour onto mixed dry ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased tray, leaving room for spreading.
• Bake in moderate oven for 20 minutes.
