- Grease a 9 inch round cake tin. In a mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda,baking powder. Preheat the oven to 300 def F.
- In another bowl, mix together the melted butter, condensed milk, vanilla essence and water.
- Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients just enough without any lumps. Resist your urge to overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin .The batter would seem watery.
- Dont fret. Bake for about an hour. Test for doneness by inserting a skewer. If it comes out clean, the cake is ready to be taken out of the oven.
- Allow it to cool for 10 minutes.Slice it and serve with vanilla icecream.

Excellent eggless chocolate cake recipe. I made it as is and found it not very sweet
The addition of 1/4 to 1/3 powdered brown sugar elevated it to perfection.
