2 cups self raising flour

1.5 cups brown sugar

3 tablespoons cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup sunflower oil

1 cup fresh milk

1/2 cup yogurt

1 teaspoon vanilla essence


  • Preheat oven at 170c for 10 minutes.
  • Sieve flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda together.
  • Add brown sugar. Add in yogurt, vanilla essence, milk and sunflower oil.
  • Mixed all ingredients until batter becomes smooth.
  • Pour the batter into greased cake tin. Bake at 170c for 40 minutes.
