Chop the onion, garlic cloves, and fresh ginger. Remove the stems from the Swiss chard and cut them into strips.

Bring the water and stock cube to a boil. Add the onion, garlic, salt, and ginger, and let it simmer on medium heat for 20 minutes.
Blend the peanuts to make a peanut butter and mix it with the tomato paste in a heatproof container. Add a ladle of broth to loosen the mixture, then add it to the broth. Stir well.
