Onion Big chopped-1

Tomato big chopped-1

Green chilly slit-2

Ginger and Garlic paste-1/2 teaspoon

Kashmiri chilly powder-2 teaspoons

Turmeric powder-pinch

Curry powder-1 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Cloves, Cinnamon and Cardamom-few


  • Heat oil in a kadai, add cloves, cinnamon and cardamom. When aroma rises add the onions and green chilly.
  • Saute for few mins and add the ginger and garlic paste, saute and add the tomatoes, cook till tomatoes are smashed.
  • Now add the curry powder, kashmiri chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt. Add little water to the mixture and bring the gravy to boil.
  • When gravy boils add the halved eggs and simmer for 5 mins. Serve hot with Chapati/ Rice.
