How do I store these udon noodles?
The recipe is for one person and should ideally be eaten immediately after cooking. However, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Yes, you can freeze them without any problem.

How do I cook udon noodles?
Here, I used pre-cooked udon noodles and followed the instructions on the packet, which recommended cooking them in a frying pan with their accompaniments for 3 minutes, covered, with 3 tablespoons of water. Instructions may vary, so be sure to read the packet!

What can I replace the honey with?
You can replace it with another sweetener: maple syrup, brown sugar...

What can I use instead of shrimps?
You can replace the shrimp with the protein of your choice, or even vegetables, for example!

What can I use instead of sesame oil?
You can use a neutral oil.

What can I use instead of sesame seeds?
Replace them with fried onions or chopped peanuts, for example!

What can I use instead of peanut butter?
I used unsweetened peanut puree, but you can also use peanut butter and why not try this recipe with tahini (sesame puree).

What can I use instead of udon noodles?
You can replace udon noodles with any type of noodle (rice noodles, instant noodles) or pasta (long pasta such as linguine or pappardelle).

What to replace gochujang with?
You can replace the gochujang (fermented Korean chili paste) with sriracha or other hot sauces! If you don't like spicy food, don't add it!

What can I use instead of garlic and ginger?
Here I've used fresh garlic and ginger, but you can add them ground.

What herbs should I add?
Here, I've added parsley. You can also add coriander, green onion or chives!
