The ingredients for this are so simple and usually found in everyone's kitchen at any given time , in that regard, this recipe is easy to throw together if you need to make something in a hurry.

Ingredients

Number of serving: 6
1 x 200gm packet crushed Marie Biscuits (or Tea Biscuits)

125 gm Butter

2 tbsp Sugar

2 tbsp Syrup

2 tbsp Chocolate Drinking Powder (i.e. the sweetened type)

1 tbsp powdered Milk

Preparation

  • Melt the butter, sugar, syrup, chocolate drinking powder and powdered milk together in a small saucepan. Blend well.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the crushed biscuits.
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the crushed biscuits. Press into a lightly greased rectangular (26 cm x 16 cm) glass dish & refrigerate until set/hardened.
  • Cut into small squares before serving.
