Saudi Date & Nut Cake
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 C. Lightly grease the baking pan and line the base with non-stick baking paper.

Pour hot coffee over chopped dates and walnuts and allow to cool.

Cream butter and sugar, add egs and beat well. Sift in dry ingredients.

Lastly, mix in date and nut mixture and vanilla extract.

Pour into prepared cake tin and bake for 50-60 minutes. Dust with icing sugar.

Serve warm with vanilla icecream.
