1 lb rhubarb

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 lemon


1/3 cup sugar

2 tsp vanilla sugar

3/4 cup flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 pinch of salt

3/4 cup almond meal

1/4 cup butter

Preparation

  • Step 1 - Rhubarb cake
    Clean and cut the borders of the rhubarb. Cut them so they can fit in the mold and peel.
  • Step 2 - Rhubarb cake
    Saupoudrez le fond de votre moule beurré de sucre roux.
    Prinkle the mold bottom with brown sugar
  • Step 3 - Rhubarb cake
    Put the rubarb on the sugar and drizzle some lemon juice on it.
  • Step 4 - Rhubarb cake
    Mix eggs + sugar + vanilla sugar.
  • Step 5 - Rhubarb cake
    Add flour + baking powder + salt + almond meal and mix well.
  • Step 6 - Rhubarb cake
    Add melted butter.
  • Step 7 - Rhubarb cake
    Pour this batter on the rhubarb.
  • Step 8 - Rhubarb cake
    Bake 30 min at 350°F (180°C).
  • Step 9 - Rhubarb cake
    Unmold when it's cold. There you are ! Your rhubarb cake is ready !
