Preheat your oven to 410°F. Grease and flour your mold. Then, separate the egg whites from the yolks. Mix the egg yolks with 150 grams of sugar.
Melt the butter and chocolate together. Once melted, add them to the mixture. Mix everything together. Then add the unsweetened cocoa powder and mix well.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff, then mix them with the remaining 50 grams of sugar. Gradually fold the egg whites into the mixture.
Pour the mixture into the greased and floured mold and bake the chocolate mousse cake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 410°F. (It should be soft in the center and will finish cooking outside the oven.)
And there you have it, your chocolate mousse cake is ready! You can sprinkle it with powdered sugar or unsweetened cocoa for extra indulgence!
Observations
As soon as the cooking time is up, if you think your cake is not cooked, know that it will continue to cook a little outside the oven :-)
