Dilute the corn starch in 1/4 cup almond milk.
Heat the remaining almond milk and add the diluted corn starch. Add the hazelnut butter and cocoa powder.
Whisk over medium heat until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
Pour the mixture into ramekins and sprinkle with crushed hazelnuts. Refrigerate for one hour.
And there you have it! Your hazelnut custards are ready!
Observations
Vegan: Here we used almond milk, but you can also use cow's milk.
Hazelnut butter: It can be replaced with other nut butters (peanut, almond, cashew...)
