Fig season is here ! Why don't you make this delicious cake to celebrate ?

Ingredients

Number of serving: 6

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 cup flour

1 cup almond flour

1 tsp baking powder


4 Tbsp olive oil

1 tsp vanilla extract

4 figs

almond flakes

Preparation

  • Step 1 - Fig and almond cake
    Mix eggs + brown sugar. Add yogurt + olive oil + vanilla and mix again.
  • Step 2 - Fig and almond cake
    Add flour + almond flour + baking powder and mix. Pour the batter in a greased mold with parchment paper.
  • Step 3 - Fig and almond cake
    Put the figs in the batter. Sprinkle with almond flakes. Bake for 35 min at 350°F (180°C).
  • Step 4 - Fig and almond cake
    Leave to cool down and unmold. There you are ! Your fig cake is ready !
