Ingredients

• 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
• 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tablespoon. Ghee
• 1 teaspoon. Cumin seeds
• 1-inch piece ginger, finely chopped
• ½ teaspoon. Coriander powder
• 1 teaspoon. Cumin powder
• Juice of ½ lemon
• Salt or sindalu salt to taste
• 2 tablespoons. chopped coriander leaves

Preparation

• Heat ghee in a pot and add the cumin seeds. When they splutter, add the tomatoes, salt, coriander powder and cumin powder.
• Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the potatoes along with 3-4 tablespoons. water.
• Cover and cook till potatoes are soft.
• Stir couple of times in between to prevent potatoes from sticking to bottom.
• Add coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix and serve
