Ingredients

Number of serving: 2
3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed

2 medium tomatoes, chopped

1 tablespoon. Ghee

1 teaspoon. Cumin seeds

1-inch piece ginger, finely chopped

½ teaspoon. Coriander powder

1 teaspoon. Cumin powder

Juice of ½ lemon

Salt or sindalu salt to taste

2 tablespoons. chopped coriander leaves

Preparation

  • Heat ghee in a pot and add the cumin seeds. When they splutter, add the tomatoes, salt, coriander powder and cumin powder.
  • Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the potatoes along with 3-4 tablespoons. water.
  • Cover and cook till potatoes are soft.
  • Stir couple of times in between to prevent potatoes from sticking to bottom.
  • Add coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix and serve
