Ingredients

Number of serving: 12
2 puff pastry sheets

1.25 cups powdered almonds

1/2 cup sugar


1/4 cup softened butter

2 oz chocolate chips

1 egg yolk

Preparation

  • Step 1 - Mini Epiphany cakes
    Unroll the pastry sheets znd cut circles into them.
  • Step 2 - Mini Epiphany cakes
    Arrange half of the circles on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Place wooden sticks.
  • Step 3 - Mini Epiphany cakes
    Combine the softened butter with the eggs, then add sugar.
  • Step 4 - Mini Epiphany cakes
    Then add the powdered almonds, and the chocolate chips.
  • Step 5 - Mini Epiphany cakes
    Put 1 Tbsp of the almond cream in the center of circle. Then cover with other circles of pastry. Press on the edges to make the pastry stick.

    Brush each pie with egg yolk, then draw some patterns with a knife tip.
