Crispy and spicy potato wedges

Potatoes- 2 big

Plain flour-1/2 cup

Corn flour- ½ cup

Chilly pwd- ¾ tsp

Salt- to taste

Fennel pwd/Perumjeerakom- ½ tsp

Garlic grated- 2


  • Wash the potatoes with soap and steel brush to clean the surface.
  • Cut the potatoes into half, then quarter and then further cut into two lengthwise. Finally you get 8 pcs from a potato.
  • Steam to cook these potatoes. It takes about 10-12 minutes.
  • Mix all the remaining ingredients with water to get a semi-thick consistency.
  • Heat oil in a kadai. Dip the cooked potatoes in the batter and fry till golden brown.
  • Serve with any sauce of your choice.
