3 ripe bananas (mashed)

1/3 cup melted butter

3/4 cup sugar

1 egg (beaten)

1 tsp vanilla essence

1 tsp baking soda

A pinch of salt

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour


  • Mix butter and mashed bananas.
    Into it, mix sugar, egg and vanilla.
    Sprinkle baking soda and salt.
  • Stir and mix.
    Mix/fold in flour.
    Bake at 175C for an hour or until cake is cooked.
